Jason P. Reska has been associated with Kaplan Fox since June 2008. Mr. Reska engages in a multi-disciplinary practice focusing on real estate, trust and estates and private client services.
Mr. Reska has experience negotiating, drafting and executing the full range of transactions, documents and other legal matters related to the real estate industry including the sale, purchase, alteration/renovation, and leasing of condominiums, cooperatives, commercial properties and other types of real estate in New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Reska advises clients across a broad spectrum of areas including estate planning and related tax work, estate and trust administration; succession planning and charitable gifting.
Mr. Reska has represented numerous residential property owners in administrative and judicial proceedings protesting real property assessments throughout New Jersey. This helps all types of real property owners - both large and small - maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. Such representation has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars of real property tax relief for numerous owners of real property in New Jersey.
Mr. Reska is also actively engaged in pro bono matters working with many charitable, educational and other not-for-profit institutions.
Mr. Reska is a graduate of New York Law School. He is also a graduate of Fairfield University.
Mr. Reska is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Bergen County Bar Association.
