Chris joined Kaplan Fox in December of 2009 as Director of Marketing where he is responsible for driving the firm’s institutional investor marketing strategy in the US and Europe.
Prior to joining Kaplan Fox, Chris served as Deputy Managing Director of Information Management Network (IMN) where he had executive management responsibility for a portfolio of up to 50 investment management conferences in the US, Europe and Asia. In this position, Chris oversaw editorial, sales, marketing and administration functions of the Investment Management Division as well as all new conference and revenue development. In his four and a half years, Chris doubled revenue and tripled profitability while preparing the group for the completion of the acquisition of IMN by Euromoney/Institutional Investor.
Chris has over 20 years of strategic business development experience. He has held positions in organizations including The Equitable and Forbes.
Chris has a BA in Political Science/History from Union College, MA in Education from SUNY Albany, and completed his course work for his Ed.D. in Education/Policy Studies. He also has an advanced certificate in management from the Rockefeller Institute of Public Policy.
