Wilfred Gomes became associated with Kaplan Fox in 2004 and has been a paralegal since 2007. He primarily works in the area of securities litigation.
Mr. Gomes has worked on some of the firm’s largest securities class actions in recent years, among others: In re Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Securities, Derivative and ERISA Litigation (S.D.N.Y.) ($475 million settlement); In re Bank of America Securities Litigation (S.D.N.Y.); In re Fannie Mae 2008 Securities Litigation (S.D.N.Y); and In re Credit Suisse-AOL Securities Litigation (D. Mass.).
In addition to his paralegal duties, Mr. Gomes is also actively involved in the Portfolio Monitoring and Case Evaluation Program for the firm’s numerous institutional investor clients.
Prior to joining Kaplan Fox, Mr. Gomes was a clerk at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP.
