Jason A. Zweig
Partner

Mr. Zweig is currently a partner resident in the New York City office of Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP.  Mr. Zweig’s practice is principally focused on plaintiff class-action antitrust and securities litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zweig was an associate with Proskauer Rose LLP in New York City where he practiced in all areas of civil and criminal litigation.  During law school, Mr. Zweig served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jed. S. Rakoff, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York. 

 

Mr. Zweig has played substantial roles in some of the largest antitrust and securities class actions in the nation.  Mr. Zweig was extensively involved in the following antitrust class actions: High Fructose Corn Syrup Antitrust Litigation (recovered $531 million, firm was co-lead counsel); Plastics Additives Antitrust Litigation ($46.8 million recovered, case still pending), NBR Antitrust Litigation (recovered $34.3 million, firm was co-lead counsel), Linens Antitrust Litigation (recovered approx. $11 million, subject to final approval, firm was co-lead counsel); and Foundry Resins Antitrust Litigation.  Some of the current antitrust litigations which Mr. Zweig is involved include: Hydrogen Peroxide Antitrust Litigation, Wellbutrin SR Antitrust Litigation, Polyether Polyols Antitrust Litigation, Air Cargo Antitrust Litigation, Cotton Yarn Antitrust Litigation, and EPDM Antitrust Litigation.  Mr. Zweig has also played substantial roles in the following securities class action litigations: Merrill Lynch Research Reports Securities Litigation ($125 million recovered) and Salomon Analyst Metromedia Litigation (pending).
