Jeffrey P. Campisi
Associate

Jeffrey P. Campisi has been associated with Kaplan Fox since 2004. He is a member of Kaplan Fox’s securities litigation team and concentrates on representing individual and institutional investors in securities class actions.  In addition, Mr. Campisi is involved in the Firm’s Portfolio Monitoring and Case Evaluation Program for Kaplan Fox’s institutional investors. 


Mr. Campisi has represented institutional and individual investors in several recent securities class actions, including the following:

 

  • In In re ProQuest, (E.D. Mich.) (preliminary approval of $20 million settlement)
  • In In re Escala, (S.D.N.Y.) ($18 million cash and stock settlement)
  • In In re Majesco, (D.N.J.) (approximately $7.5 million settlement)

Mr. Campisi has also been involved in the following recent securities class actions: In re Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. (Southern District of New York); In re Sourcefire, Inc. (District of Maryland), In re OCA Securities Litigation (Eastern District of Louisiana), In re American Italian Pasta Company (Western District of Missouri), In re emedsoft.com Securities Litigation (Northern District of Ohio), In re Countrywide Financial Corp. Securities Litigation (Central District of California); and In re Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. Securities Litigation (Southern District of New York). 

 

After graduating law school, Mr. Campisi served as law clerk to the Honorable Herbert J. Hutton, Federal District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (2001-2001).

  • J.D., summa cum laude, Villanova University School of Law (2000) (Member of the Villanova Law Review and the Villanova Chapter of the Order of the Coif)
